The Perfume
Sandalwood is the soul of Elixir of Wisdom. The secret to this perfume is allowing sandalwood to unveil its heart as soon as possible. This is achieved by combining the delightfully woody aroma of three sandalwood essential oils with Buddha wood, Atlas cedarwood, frankincense, patchouli and vetiver. The light fresh citrus aromas of bergamot and lemon do not overpower the delicate woody aromas of the three sandalwood essential oils. Fragonia, Tasmanian lavender, rose otto and coriander seed provide a hint of freshness, while delicately balancing the entire perfume.

    Woody delight

    I ordered this online and wasn’t quite sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I feel this will be a scent I will wear more often in Winter as the notes felt quite deep and warming.

    Changed formulation

    I have loved this perfume since my family bought it for me 5 years ago at a very precious and sad time.

    Concerned that the company might not last forever - I decided to buy 3 bottles of this fabulous elixir for myself for Christmas.

    Sadly, the mixture has changed. It is close enough to still use, but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. It is less warm and earthy - the previous iteration was gorgeous. This new mix is.......OK :(
